The party, surprise or not

By thirty, friends have often taken over from family as the ones who organise. Two schools of thought: the surprise, where someone gets them to the right place at the right time; or the announced party, where they pick the theme. Either way, the t-shirts get made behind their back.

Choose a photo that makes the whole group laugh without embarrassing them in front of colleagues or the in-laws: the t-shirt will be in every photo of the night. Need a common thread? Ten party theme ideas.

T-shirts for the guests

The t-shirt, $29.00: Gildan 5000 Heavy Cotton, adult sizes S to 2XL, nine colours. Their photo on the front, the date on the back.
The cap, : for the birthday star, with their nickname.
The mug, $25.00: for the morning after.

To make the number visible, the ready-made big-number template (« Gros chiffre » in the studio) puts their photo inside the zero of a large "30"; you type the 3. It reads from a distance, even in group photos.

The mathsFifteen t-shirts at $29.00 come to $435.00; with −10%, $391.50, or $26.10 per guest. Twelve t-shirts and the cap in the same basket come to $348.00, $313.20 after the discount. From twenty-five items, −15%: $24.65 per t-shirt. Automatic, no code.

The gift from the friends

If you would rather give one joint present, think about what suits them: an A4 frame, from $61.00, with a photo from ten years of friendship, or a funny memory only you lot understand — the private-joke gift has a few ideas.

The organising

Collect sizes in a shared spreadsheet; one person places a single order and has it delivered to their own address — not to the birthday person's if it is a surprise. Printing and delivery take 5 to 10 working days in the UK, Europe and the US, up to 15 elsewhere: order three weeks before the party.

Free shipping from €50, no minimum order. Printed one at a time near the delivery address, delivered in 5 to 10 working days in the UK, Europe and the US, up to 15 elsewhere.
