Cheap personalised mug: the real price, shipping shown upfront, no minimum
Whether a mug is really cheap comes down to what you actually pay for one mug. Here is how to compare, how to pay less as a group, and how to spot a mug that lasts. Photo mug $25.00 each, no minimum.

The real price of a personalised mug
The price that counts is the one on the last page of checkout. Here, nothing gets added along the way:
- The mug: $25.00, photo and text included.
- Shipping: free from €50, including straight to the address of the person you are giving it to.
- Minimum order: none. A single mug is printed for you, to order, in Europe.
- Timing: 5 to 10 working days in the UK, Europe and the US, up to 15 elsewhere, printing and delivery included.
- The preview: instant, no account. You see the mug with your photo before you pay.
Comparing fairly: the five questions to ask
To find out whether a mug really is cheaper elsewhere, compare the same final basket:
- How much does shipping cost? On a low-priced item, delivery charges added at the end can change the whole picture.
- Is there a minimum? A low unit price reserved for bulk orders is no use for a gift.
- Is a full-colour photo included? Check that the price covers your photo and your text, not just a name.
- Which mug? Compare like with like: ours is ceramic, 325 ml, with a 20 × 9.5 cm print area.
- Is it dishwasher safe? A mug that has to be washed by hand ends up at the back of the cupboard. Ours is dishwasher and microwave safe.
If an offer wins on all five at once, it really is cheaper. If not, the headline price does not tell you much.
Paying less as a group
The discount applies on its own in the same basket, even if every mug has a different photo: −10% from 10 items, −15% from 25. Items can be mixed (mugs, t-shirts, tote bags, sweatshirts); only frames do not count.
- At 9 mugs, take a tenth: 9 mugs cost $225.00, and so do 10 mugs once the discount applies.
- Or add a t-shirt: 9 mugs and a t-shirt come to $254.00, or $228.60 after the discount.
- 12 mugs for a team: $270.00 instead of $300.00, which is $22.50 each.
- At 24, go to 25: 24 mugs cost $540.00, 25 mugs cost $531.25. The twenty-fifth mug brings the bill down.
- One person orders for the whole group, in a single basket.

Photo and text: what looks good on a mug
A mug is looked at up close, every morning. The print area is 20 × 9.5 cm: a wide band, wider than it is tall.
- A sharp photo, a clear subject: a face, a pair, a pet. For a dog or a cat, see the mug with your pet's photo.
- Cutting out the subject: the free Remove background (AI) button isolates the subject against the white ceramic.
- A photo that is too small: try Make the photo sharper (AI), and check with photo resolution for printing.
- Short text: a nickname, an in-joke, a date. The ready-made text styles and the text ideas for each occasion give you a starting point.
- The templates: Thank you (« Merci ! » in the studio), Love, Best dog, Team, or Secret Santa in December.
Dozens of wording ideas are gathered in personalised mugs: photo and text ideas. Your photo is not uploaded anywhere before you order.
The mistakes that make you pay more
- Ordering in several baskets: three orders of 4 mugs trigger no discount, one order of 12 triggers −10%.
- Stopping at 9 or 24: the next basket up costs the same or less.
- Choosing a blurry photo: on something you see every day, it shows. Look at the preview before you pay.
- Ordering too late: allow 5 to 10 working days in the UK, Europe and the US, up to 15 elsewhere. For Christmas 2026 in Europe, order before Thursday 10 December; outside Europe, order by early December.
Free shipping from €50, with no minimum order. Printed one at a time near the delivery address, delivered in 5 to 10 working days in the UK, Europe and the US, up to 15 elsewhere.
