Giving something to your clients at the end of the year is a habit that still works, provided you don't send the same promotional pen as everyone else. An object printed with your photo — the team, the workshop, the construction site, a product, a year in pictures — is kept. Here is how to put together an order of fifteen, thirty, or fifty pieces without the stress, and when to get started.

Why a photo changes everything for a client gift

A generic goodie ends up in a drawer. A photo taken at your place tells a story: the shop front, the entire team, the machine the client knows, the construction site they entrusted to you. That is why they will place the object on their desk instead of putting it away.

Three angles work well:

  • The team — useful if your clients speak to people, not a department.
  • The expertise — a photo of the workshop, the material, the craft.
  • The year gone by — a selection of your best images, ideal for a calendar.

You upload the photo to the online workshop, you position it on the screen, you add text if you wish, and that's the order. No account to create, and the photo does not leave your browser until the moment of payment.

Which object for which type of client

The choice depends primarily on the budget per person and what the client will do with the object.

  • The calendar — the year-end gift par excellence, because it remains visible for twelve months. The A4 wall calendar is €26.90, the A3 is €28.90. 2027 vintage, 14 pages, spiral binding, a different photo possible per month, French public holidays included.
  • The mug — €16.90, 325 ml ceramic, dishwasher safe. The best visibility-to-price ratio when the list is long.
  • Postcards — €21.90 for a set of 10 in A6, 300g paper. Perfect as a greeting card slipped into a package, or to accompany another gift.
  • The tote bag — €29.90, cotton, long handle, 38 × 42 cm. It goes out on the street, so it circulates.
  • The frame — for a unique client you really want to impress. Black wood, delivered assembled, starting from €39.90 in 21 × 29.7 cm.

Quantity discounts, explained

This is where bulk ordering becomes attractive. From 10 items in the cart, −10%. From 25, −15%. Nothing to enter, no code: the discount appears automatically in the cart.

Two details that matter:

  • The items are cumulative. Ten different objects count as ten. You can therefore mix five calendars, eight mugs, and twelve sets of cards without losing the benefit.
  • The three wooden frames are excluded from the discount and do not count toward the threshold.

In concrete terms: ten mugs come to €152.10 instead of €169.00. Twenty-five t-shirts, €401.75 instead of €472.50. And the displayed price is the price paid — shipping is included, even for a single item. Everything is grouped on the personalized bulk goodies page.

Which photo to choose for the best result

A thirty-piece order ruined by a file that is too small is the only real risk. A few simple rules:

  • Start with the original file, not an image retrieved from your site or received via messenger: it has been recompressed.
  • Aim for at least 2000 pixels on the long side for a mug or a tote, more for a calendar or a frame. Our page on required resolution for printing provides the thresholds product by product.
  • Avoid photos taken against the light or at night on a phone: grain is much more visible on paper than on screen.
  • Leave some space around the subject. The cropping is adjusted during printing, and a head stuck to the edge will end up being clipped.
  • For a team photo, prefer a plain background and a daytime shoot near a window.

The calendar: when to order

This is the question that costs the most when handled poorly. Count backward from the date you want to hand out the gifts.

The shop announces 5 to 10 business days between the order and receipt, including manufacturing — everything is made to order, nothing is in stock. Add the time you need to choose the photos and have the design approved internally, which is often the real bottleneck.

In practice, for delivery before the holidays: finalize the photos by the end of October, order in early November. This gives you a margin if an image needs to be replaced. Our page on when to order a personalized Christmas gift details the timeline.

Three points to know before confirming

  • Printed to order at the partner site closest to the delivery address.
  • Delivery to France, the EU, the UK, Switzerland and the United States.
  • A personalized object does not grant the right of withdrawal (Article L221-28 3° of the Consumer Code), as it is manufactured for you. However, any printing, manufacturing, or transport defect will be replaced or refunded — so please re-read your preview carefully before confirming.

The simplest way is to run a test: upload a photo into the workshop, check the result on two or three items, and then decide on the volume.
