You return from vacation with 800 photos on your phone. In three weeks, you won't have looked at a single one. This is the normal fate of travel photos: they pile up, they drown, and the best memory of the year ends up buried under screenshots. Returning from vacation is the perfect time to pick out five or six and give them a form you can see every day.
Sort through them in ten minutes, not three hours
Sorting is the only real hurdle. Don't try to organize the entire trip. Open your camera roll, go back to the dates of your stay, and keep one photo per location or significant day. You should end up with six to ten images. That is more than enough.
A few tips for choosing quickly:
- Prefer photos where you can recognize someone: an empty landscape ages less well than a face.
- Avoid photos taken with digital zoom; they become blurry when enlarged.
- A slightly dark photo can be fixed; a blurry one cannot.
- Be wary of images received via messaging apps: they are often recompressed and much smaller than the original. Always use the original file.
The resolution question, answered in one sentence
A photo taken with a recent phone, uncropped and not sent via messaging apps, works perfectly on all our formats, even the large ones. The pitfall isn't the device; it's what you do with the file afterward. If you have any doubts about what a photo can handle when enlarged, our page on the resolution required for printing provides concrete thresholds, format by format.
Which object for which memory
Not all travel photos require the same medium. In practice:
- A single strong image, a wide landscape, end-of-day light: the 30 × 40 cm frame at €47.90, black wood, 200g matte paper, delivered assembled. It is also available in 21 × 29.7 cm (€39.90) and 50 × 70 cm (€97.90) if you have a real wall to fill.
- Twelve images, one per month: the 2027 A4 photo calendar at €26.90, 14 pages, spiral binding, French public holidays included. A different photo each month: it's the format that best absorbs an entire summer. A3 version at €28.90.
- A souvenir to share: personalized postcards, €21.90 for a set of 10 in A6, 300g paper. The postcard you should have sent while you were there, sent in September—it has a better effect.
- An everyday object: the mug at €16.90 or the cotton tote bag at €29.90, 38 × 42 cm, long handle. A landscape on your morning mug works better than you'd think.
Traveling in a group: consider the bulk discount
If you traveled with six, ten, or a group—a family stay, a hike with friends, a club trip—the best back-to-school gift is the same object for everyone, featuring the group photo. Ten identical tote bags, or ten calendars with the same twelve photos, and everyone keeps the trip in view all year long.
This is also where the price becomes attractive. Starting from 10 items in your cart, a 10% discount is applied automatically; from 25 items, it increases to 15%. No code to enter, it appears on its own in the cart. Items can be mixed, even if different: five mugs and five tote bags count as ten. Concretely, ten mugs come to €152.10 instead of €169.00. The discount applies to mugs, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, tote bags, postcards, and calendars; the three wooden frames are excluded and do not count toward the threshold. The details are on the custom goodies in quantity page.
When to order
The site advertises 5 to 10 business days for everything, including production. Count on a week, and you'll be set. If the souvenir is for a specific date—a birthday, a reunion dinner with those from the trip, a housewarming—order about two weeks in advance: this gives you the leeway to re-select if a photo no longer suits you.
A word about the calendars: they feature the year 2027. They are ordered from October to December, but nothing stops you from preparing yours now, while the summer photos are still fresh in your mind.
How it works in practice
You upload your photo to the online studio, position it on the screen, add text if you wish—a date, a location name, a word from the trip—and place your order. No account to create. Your photo only leaves your browser at the time of payment. Everything is made to order, nothing is in stock, and every product is printed at the partner site closest to the delivery address.
The price displayed is the price paid: shipping is included, even for a single item. We deliver to France, the EU, the UK, Switzerland and the United States. Since each piece is personalized, there is no right of withdrawal (Article L221-28 3° of the Consumer Code)—however, any printing, manufacturing, or transport defect will be replaced or refunded.
Your photos from this summer are just begging to get off your phone. Ten minutes of sorting, one object, and the trip lasts another year.
