6. Can you use any photo?

Photos taken by one of the group: yes. Photos taken by a professional — an engagement shoot, a studio portrait, a wedding photographer's work from a previous wedding — belong to the photographer, and printing them needs their permission. It is usually given if you ask; it is not implied by having bought the prints.

The same applies to a film still, an album cover or a brand logo, which is often what a joke design ends up reaching for. If the joke needs a character, redraw it rather than reprint it.
