What actually fits in the suitcase

Whoever is leaving has already packed down to the last kilo. The mug and the frame, however good, usually stay behind at their parents' house. What really travels is whatever folds, slides into a suitcase pocket and gets used over there from the very first week.

The safest option: give it before they leave, at the leaving do or the last night out. Printing and delivery take 5 to 10 working days in Europe: order at least two weeks before the date, and have it delivered to one of you to keep the surprise.

You can also have it delivered later: for their birthday or for Christmas, we ship straight to the address you give, shipping included. Allow up to 15 working days outside the UK, Europe and the US, and for an address that is far from Europe, ask us first before ordering rather than counting on a date. Another simple option: send it to their parents, who can hand it over on the next visit home.

Take a recent photo of all of you, from the last night out or the last weekend together.
