The idea: the same thing in every home
The point of a shared gift is that it creates a shared moment, even from afar. On the evening everyone opens their package, everybody has the same mug or the same calendar in front of them, and the video call feels different. The simplest setup is to name one organizer: they pick the item, collect the addresses and place the orders.
Which photos to choose
- One photo of everyone together, even an old one: the last family meal, a vacation, a wedding. It is the safe choice and works on every item.
- One collage per household from the three or four photos each branch sends: ideal for the calendar, where each month can tell the story of one part of the family.
- One photo per generation: the grandchildren for the grandparents, the grandparents when young for the grandchildren. It lands every time.
The most common trap is a screenshot from a video call, or an image received through a messaging app. They are often shrunk and look blurry once printed. Ask instead for the original file, as an attachment or a share link, and run the sharpness test before ordering. The studio's free sharpening button can help, but it cannot work miracles on a tiny image.
Which item for whom
- The mug, $23.00: the easiest choice, for everyone including the kids. The family photo at breakfast.
- The A4 calendar, : twelve photos, one per month, with everyone's birthdays. It stays in view all year.
- The 30 x 40 cm photo frame, $75.00 or the framed A4 poster, $55.00: for parents and grandparents, a photo of everyone to hang on the wall.
- The set of ten A6 postcards, $26.00: a card with the family photo for each cousin, to write on and send back.
- The tote bag, $35.00: handy for young adults, and light if someone has to carry it in a suitcase.
Timing: plan well ahead
Each item is printed to order near the delivery address. Allow 5 to 10 working days in the UK, Europe and the US and up to 15 elsewhere. We do not promise an arrival date: transit depends on the country and the season, and the end of the year is busy everywhere. Our advice: order as early as you can, and leave even more margin for addresses outside Europe, keeping in mind the date on which your family gets together, which is not the same everywhere.
One order goes to one address, so place one order per address, using the recipient's address. If you have a doubt about a far-off country, ask us before ordering. For year-end timing, see also when to order a personalized Christmas gift.

Questions people ask us
What photo gift works for a family spread across several countries? The same item for each household, with the same family photo: a mug, a calendar, a frame or a set of postcards. Everyone receives it at home, shipping included.
Can each gift be delivered to a different country? Yes. We deliver to France, the European Union and several other countries including Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Norway, Canada, the United States, Australia and Japan. One order goes to one address, so place one order per address.
How much time should you allow before Christmas? Printing happens when you order: 5 to 10 working days in the UK, Europe and the US, up to 15 elsewhere. We do not promise an arrival date, so order well ahead, especially for addresses outside Europe.
How do you collect photos from the whole family? Ask everyone to send the original file as an attachment or a share link, rather than a screenshot or an image received through a messaging app, which is often shrunk. One person gathers the photos and makes the choice.
