Is the t-shirt thick?

Yes. 180 g/m² is a thick, dense cotton, clearly heavier than the thin 140–150 g/m² tees often used for print on demand. It hangs well and keeps its shape.

Q: How is the design printed?

Direct-to-garment (DTG): water-based inks soak into the fibre and are heat-cured. There is no glued-on film, so nothing cracks or peels and it stays soft. On dark colours a white underbase keeps the colours bright.

Q: Does the print survive washing?

The ink is in the fibre, not on top of it. Colours may soften very slightly over the first washes, then settle. Heat and friction are what wear a print: wash at 30 °C inside out and skip the tumble dryer.

The short answerEvery t-shirt we print is a Gildan 5000 Heavy Cotton: 100% cotton at 180 g/m² (sport grey: 90% cotton, 10% polyester), double-needle ribbed collar, taped neck and shoulders. It is a heavyweight tee that covers even in white and keeps its shape. Your design is printed into the fibre (DTG printing), with no glued-on film: nothing cracks. Wash at 30 °C inside out, no tumble dryer. $29.00 each, no minimum.

1. Why a heavyweight tee

Many print-on-demand shops use thin 140–150 g/m² tees: light, but they lose their shape quickly, show skin through white and look like promo shirts. For a gift people keep, we chose the opposite.

180 g/m²: dense cotton with body, that covers even in white.
It keeps its shape: seamless double-needle ribbed collar, taped neck and shoulders, double-needle sleeves and hem.
A real base for a photo: a thick, even fabric carries an image better than thin jersey that moves.

3. How your design is printed

The tee is printed by DTG: a textile printer lays down water-based inks that soak into the cotton, then the ink is heat-cured. No film, no transfer glued on.

To the touch: it feels like fabric, not plastic.
Over time: nothing cracks on a fold or peels, because nothing is glued on.
On dark colours: a white underbase is printed under your design to keep colours bright.

4. Washing, simply

30 °C maximum, inside out; air dry; iron inside out, never on the print; no bleach. Colours may soften very slightly over the first washes, then settle. Heat and friction wear a print, not the ink.
