A retirement party isn't just any farewell gathering. The person is leaving after fifteen, twenty, sometimes thirty years at the same company. A card signed in a rush and a potted plant don't tell a story. A team photo, printed on something they'll keep, does.
And since it's a collective gift, the real question isn't what to give but how to get fifteen people organized without spending three weeks on it. Here is the method.
Start with the photo, not the object
A successful retirement gift is based on a single strong image. Three approaches that work:
- The recent group photo: the whole department, taken at the last seminar or organized specifically during a lunch break. It's the safe bet.
- The archive photo: the person on their first day, or the team ten years ago. Dig through the old shared folders; the effect is guaranteed.
- The location: the building facade, the workshop, the office. Less obvious, very effective when the person has spent their career in the same place.
Technically, aim for an image of at least 2000 pixels on the long side. A photo taken on a phone in the last five years works perfectly well. On the other hand, an image retrieved from internal messaging is often recompressed and too small: always ask the person who took it for the original. The main gift: a frame, and nothing else
For the person leaving, the object that works best is the photo frame. It sits on a piece of furniture at home, it lasts, and it doesn't look like corporate swag.
- 21 x 29.7 cm frame at €39.90: the desk size, discreet.
- 30 x 40 cm frame at €47.90: the best compromise for a group photo; you can distinguish every face.
- 50 x 70 cm frame at €97.90: for a momentous departure, a director, or a pillar of the company.

And for colleagues: the same visual, in small
This is the part everyone forgets, yet it makes all the difference. Printing the same shot on an object for each team member turns an individual gift into a shared memory. Everyone leaves with something.
- The mug at €16.90: 325 ml ceramic, dishwasher safe. It ends up on everyone's desk; that's exactly the intended effect.
- The tote bag at €29.90: cotton, 38 x 42 cm, long handles.

The math when there are fifteen of you
From 10 items in your cart, the discount is 10%. From 25 items, it increases to 15%. It applies automatically at checkout; no code needed. The items accumulate even if they are different: ten distinct objects still count as ten.
Two concrete examples:
- Twelve mugs for the team: €182.52 instead of €202.80.
- Fifteen t-shirts for an outdoor farewell party: €255.15 instead of €283.50.
One point to know before finalizing your cart: the three wooden frames are excluded from the discount and do not count towards the threshold. Specifically, if you buy a 30 x 40 cm frame and twelve mugs, the twelve mugs trigger the 10%, not the frame. It doesn't change your organization, but it avoids any surprises at payment. The retroplanning, honestly
The date of the party is known weeks in advance: use it. The rhythm that works:
- D-21: you choose the photo and get it approved by two or three people. This is the step that always drags on.
- D-18: you close the collection and finalize the quantities. Be generous rather than exact; a forgotten colleague is noticeable.
- D-15: you order. The site estimates 5 to 10 business days, delivery included in the displayed price. This gives you a real buffer.
Don't aim for a shorter timeframe. An order placed three days before the party might arrive on time, but you won't have any margin if something gets stuck in transit. Delivery is included to France, the EU, the UK, Switzerland and the United States, and the price displayed is the price you pay: no fees appear on the final line, even for a single item.
A few things to know before confirming
Everything is made to order, at the partner site closest to the delivery address. Nothing is in stock; every piece is produced for you.
Direct consequence: a personalized item does not qualify for the right of withdrawal (Article L221-28 3° of the Consumer Code). However, any defect in printing, manufacturing, or transport is replaced or refunded, no questions asked. So double-check the text you add; a typo in a first name cannot be fixed.
