The ideas, by budget
A best-friend gift doesn't need to be expensive. It needs to be yours.
- The smallest budget: the mug, $23.00, 325 ml ceramic (about 11 oz), dishwasher and microwave safe. Your photo for her December hot chocolates.
- A step up: the tote bag, $35.00, cotton, 38 × 42 cm, for the friend who always has an extra bag on her shoulder. Or ten identical postcards, $26.00, with your photo, so she can send her own season's greetings.
- Something to wear: the sweatshirt, $45.00, to wear on Christmas Eve with the Ugly jumper template (« Pull moche » in the studio). It's a printed sweatshirt, not knitwear: an ugly Christmas jumper (or sweater) in spirit. Adult sizes from S to 2XL.
- For the wall: your favourite photo in a 30 × 40 cm wooden frame, $75.00, or on a canvas, $35.00.
Christmas templates that suit the two of you
The studio has ready-made Christmas templates: you upload your photo and the template dresses it up. The ones that work best between friends:
- Gift tag (« Étiquette » in the studio, with "For you"): like a gift tag, with your photo on it. The most direct.
- Let it snow: a wintry feel on your ski-trip photo, or on any photo at all.
- Ugly jumper: for a sweatshirt to wear on Christmas Eve, and a photo of her that makes you both laugh.
- Candy cane (« Sucre d'orge » in the studio, "Ho ho ho") and the Christmas template (« Joyeux Noël » in the studio): for a seasonal mug, more classic.
- Polaroid or Love: for a photo of the two of you with no Christmas reference, that she'll keep all year.
The studio also offers text ideas by occasion and ready-made text styles. The preview is instant, with no account: try three templates and keep the one that feels like you two.
One for her, one for you
A best-friend gift often gets ordered in pairs: same mug, same sweatshirt, one each. And if you do Christmas with the girls, the discount comes round quickly.
- Two matching mugs: $46.00.
- Two Ugly jumper sweatshirts for Christmas Eve: $90.00, or $81.00 with the code BIENVENUE10 on a first order.
- A tote bag and a mug: $58.00, one for her and one for you, or both for her.
- Christmas with the girls: five friends each giving two mugs, ordered in the same basket, trigger −10% from 10 items. For the whole group, see Christmas gifts for friends.
The photo and the words only she will get
On a Christmas gift, your best friend should recognise your story in a second.
- The oldest photo of the two of you: school, your first trip, your first night out. Scanned or small, it regains its sharpness with the Make the photo sharper (AI) button.
- The disaster photo that became legendary: the one you bring out every time. If she's the one looking ridiculous in it, make sure she laughs about it too.
- The text: your nickname, your catchphrase, the year you met. On a mug, the print area is 20 × 9.5 cm: two or three words, no more.
- Cutting out: the free Remove background (AI) button keeps your two faces and loses the nightclub backdrop.

Dates, and mistakes to avoid
Christmas falls on Friday 25 December 2026. Printing and delivery take 5 to 10 working days in Europe: order before Thursday 10 December. Outside the UK, Europe and the US, allow up to 15 working days and order in early December. If you'll see her before then, for a night out in early December, allow two weeks before that date. All the key dates are in when to order for Christmas.
- Forgetting she lives far away: have it delivered straight to her; shipping is included whatever the address.
- The blurry screenshot: go back to the original photo, or ask a mutual friend for it.
- Guessing her sweatshirt size: quietly ask someone who knows her and compare with the size guide.
- Too much text on the mug: a whole sentence wraps round the mug and can't be read any more.
Prices include shipping, no minimum order. Printed to order near the delivery address, delivered in 5 to 10 working days in the UK, Europe and the US, up to 15 elsewhere.
