Personalised gifts and fast delivery: what is true
A personalised object does not exist before your order: it is printed for you. That is why “delivered in 24 hours” is not true of made-to-order work, here or anywhere. Here are the real lead times, and what to do when you are late. 5 to 10 working days in France, shipping included.

Why 24 hours does not exist
A personalised t-shirt is not a stocked product someone drops in a box. Your photo has to be printed on the garment, dried, checked, packed, then shipped. That chain takes working days, not hours.
When a site advertises 24 or 48 hours, it is almost always the dispatch time of a stocked item, or a production time that excludes transport. Always read what the number covers: production only, or production plus delivery.
The real lead time, product by product
Here the same lead time applies to all eleven products: 5 to 10 working days in France, printing and delivery included. Three useful points:
- Working days means excluding weekends and public holidays. An order placed on a Friday evening starts on the Monday.
- Outside France, allow a little more: we ship to the EU, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United States.
- Peak periods — early December, the run-up to Mother’s Day — stretch production at every printer. That is when a safety margin really counts.
The public holidays and lead times page lists the weeks to avoid.
The right method: count backwards
Start from the date of the event and take off two to three weeks. Not ten days: two to three weeks. The difference is the margin, and the margin is what makes the object arrive before the date rather than after.
For Christmas, the order must be placed by 10 December at the latest, and the 8th is more comfortable. The when to order a personalised Christmas gift page has the detail.
If it is already too late
It happens, and there is better to do than ordering and hoping:
- Give the preview. The studio shows the result on screen. A screenshot printed or shown on the day, with the object arriving later, works very well — and the person sometimes picks the photo themselves.
- Ship straight to them. Delivery is included, including to an address other than yours. That removes the intermediate transport days. See delivering straight to the recipient.
- Move the occasion. A personalised object lasts years; giving it a week late matters less than giving it rushed.
What not to do: order the night before and cross your fingers. Because the product is personalised, it carries no right of withdrawal (article L221-28 3° of the French consumer code) — it cannot be sent back for arriving late.
