Personalised photo calendar: how to choose a site
A photo calendar is judged on four things: format, paper, lead time and delivered price. The rest is staging. A4 calendar , A3 , shipping included.

Format decides everything
A photo calendar is not chosen like a book: it is chosen for the wall it will hang on.
- A4 (): 21 × 29.7 cm. Sits on a desk or hangs in a kitchen. At that size a portrait, or one to three subjects, works well; a group of twelve people becomes unreadable.
- A3 (): 29.7 × 42 cm. Reads from three metres. The format for a family photo, a landscape, or a calendar meant for grandparents.
Two euros separate them. When the hesitation is about a group photo, or a gift for someone who reads poorly up close, A3 is the right call.
What we do not make
Two limits, said plainly rather than discovered at the basket:
- No weekly calendar. One page per week, fifty-two pages, does not exist here. The calendar is monthly: 14 pages with ring binding, one photo per month.
- No third format. No A2, no square, no desk easel. A4 or A3.
If you need a weekly or a large format, another site will serve you better, and that is more useful to know now.
The other two criteria
Lead time. A calendar is ordered in November for January, which is when every printer is saturated. We quote 5 to 10 working days in France, printing and delivery included. For a calendar to be given at Christmas, the order must be placed by 10 December at the latest, and the 8th is more comfortable.
The delivered price. Postage weighs heavily on a rigid flat object. Compare the final amount, not the advertised one. Here delivery is included, to France, the EU, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United States.
Choosing the twelve photos
This is where most calendars go wrong. Three rules that hold:
- One photo per month, not twelve photos of one day. A calendar tells a year; twelve images from the same weekend look alike by the third month.
- Match the season. The snow photo in January, the beach one in July. Obvious, and almost nobody does it.
- Use the originals. A photo pulled from a chat has been recompressed, and it shows across 29.7 cm. Figures are on the photo resolution page.
From 10 items in the same basket the automatic 10% discount applies, and it covers both calendars. It becomes 15% from 25.
Questions we get asked
Which personalised photo calendar formats do you offer? Two: A4 (21 × 29.7 cm) and A3 (29.7 × 42 cm), as a 14-page monthly wall calendar with ring binding, shipping included.
Do you make a weekly photo calendar? No. The calendar is monthly: 14 pages with ring binding, one photo per month, French public holidays marked. There is no weekly version.
Which calendar format should I choose? A4 sits on a desk or hangs in a kitchen and suits portraits. A3 reads from a distance and suits group photos, landscapes, and calendars given to grandparents.
When should I order a photo calendar for Christmas? By 10 December at the latest, and 8 December is more comfortable: printing and delivery take 5 to 10 working days in France.
