When should I order for a Secret Santa before Christmas?
| Order by | What it means |
|---|---|
| Monday 7 December | A comfortable margin through the busy weeks |
| Thursday 10 December | The last day with the usual window before 24 December |
| 11 to 15 December | Usually still arrives, with no reserve |
| After 15 December | Digital gift card by email |
These dates are not guaranteed. Our shipping policy allows up to 15 working days in total outside France, and print partners can take a few days longer in December. Most office exchanges happen before the last working day, so count back from the day of your exchange, not from Christmas Eve. There is no paid express option: ordering early is the only lever. All the dates are on our Christmas 2026 order deadlines page.
What do I put on it when I barely know the person?
A photo of the team, the office dog, the building, the view from their desk, or an inside joke from the team chat. No usable photo? Describe the idea in one sentence and the studio draws it, or have a photo redrawn in a style such as a cartoon, pop art or a watercolour. Three tries are free and the preview shows the mug or the t-shirt before you pay, so nothing is a surprise to you. A free background-removal button runs in your browser.
Can the whole team order in one go?
Yes, and it is cheaper: from 10 items in one basket the 10% discount is applied automatically, 15% from 25, and each item can carry a different photo. One person can also place the order and have every parcel sent to the office in one delivery address. If you want the gift to stay anonymous, leave your name out of the text and have it delivered to the office rather than to the person's home. For a colleague's mug in particular, our Secret Santa mug ideas page goes through what to write.
Questions we get asked
Which personalised gifts stay under £20 with delivery? The photo mug at £18.00 and the photo t-shirt at £18.00, UK delivery included in both prices. The tote bag (£26.00) and the crew-neck sweatshirt (£34.00) sit above a £20 budget.
Can I order just one item for a Secret Santa? Yes. Each item is printed after it is ordered, so there is no minimum and no setup fee. One mug costs £18.00 and one t-shirt £18.00, UK delivery included.
When should I order a Secret Santa gift for Christmas 2026? Thursday 10 December 2026 is the last day with the usual window before Christmas, and Monday 7 December leaves a comfortable margin. Between 11 and 15 December an order usually still arrives, with no reserve. If your office exchange happens earlier in December, work back from that date rather than from 24 December. Delivery dates are not guaranteed.
What do I put on it if I barely know the colleague? A photo of the team, the office dog, the view from the window, or an inside joke from the team chat. You can also describe the idea in one sentence and have the studio draw it: three tries are free and you see the result on the mug before paying.
Where is it printed for a UK address? In the UK, by the print partner nearest the delivery address. You can have it posted straight to the office or to the recipient's home.
Will I pay customs or import charges? Delivery is included and nothing is added at checkout. Our shipping policy states: “Outside the European Union (United Kingdom, Switzerland, United States, Canada), customs duties or local taxes may apply on receipt: they are set by the destination country and are payable by the recipient.”
