The eight things to check on any site
- The legal notice: company or publisher name, address, a way to make contact. A shop with no identity is one to avoid.
- The delivered price before payment: the total, postage included, must appear before you enter card details.
- The returns policy: it must state what is refunded, and within what time.
- The preview: you should see your photo on the object before ordering.
- The stated lead times: production and delivery, in working days.
- A secure payment page: HTTPS, padlock in the address bar.
- A reachable contact: an address or form that answers, with a stated response time.
- Verified reviews on a third-party platform, rather than testimonials hand-picked on the site itself.
What you can check on ours
We would rather say it plainly than pretend: the shop is young and has no published reviews yet. A site that showed dozens of glowing reviews at this stage would be the thing to be suspicious of. Everything else is verifiable in a couple of minutes:
- The price shown is the delivered price — postage is not added at the end.
- The preview is instant and free, with no account and no email asked for.
- Your photo stays in your browser until the order is placed.
- The lead time is stated: 5 to 10 working days in France.
- The returns policy says what the law actually allows — see returning a personalised product.
Two warning signs
“Satisfied or your money back” on personalised goods. In France, personalised products are excluded from the right of withdrawal. A site promising an unconditional refund on them is promising something it is not bound to honour.
“Delivered in 24 hours” on made-to-order goods. The object is printed after the order. That figure is almost always the dispatch time of a stocked item. See delivery times for a personalised gift.
Questions we get asked
How do I know whether a personalised gift site is trustworthy? Check the legal notice, the delivered price shown before payment, the returns policy, the preview, the stated lead times, a secure payment page, a reachable contact, and verified reviews on a third-party platform.
Does Pose ton design have customer reviews? Not yet published: the shop is young. Everything else can be checked — delivered price, instant preview, stated lead times and a returns policy that matches the law.
Is the price shown the final price? Yes. Delivery is included in the price shown, so nothing is added at the payment stage.
Is a “satisfied or refunded” promise a good sign? On personalised goods it is a warning sign: those products are excluded from the right of withdrawal in France, so an unconditional refund is not something the seller is bound to honour.
