A wedding anniversary is the simplest occasion in the world to celebrate and the most difficult to give for. The couple already has everything, or nearly so. What they don't have is a beautiful printed version of their own memories: those are currently sleeping in a phone. Here is how to turn a photo into a gift, without picking the wrong product or missing the deadline.
Choosing the right photo before choosing the product
This is the classic mistake: you order first, then look for the image. Do the opposite. Open your gallery, go back in time, and pick three candidates. The best ones are rarely posed photos. A laugh caught by chance, a look exchanged during the cocktail hour, a hand on a shoulder: that is what makes people cry twenty years later.
Two checks before confirming:
- Sharpness. Zoom in fully on faces. If it's blurry on the screen, it will be blurry on paper—printing doesn't fix anything.
- Cropping. Keep some space around the subjects. A photo that is cropped too tightly doesn't look good at the final size.
For old film photos, taking a photo of the print with your phone works better than you'd think: lay the print flat near a window, without flash, with the device held parallel.
Which product for which year
Not all years carry the same weight, and the gift should follow suit.
- The early years (cotton, leather, wood) call for something practical and intimate. A photo mug at €16.90 that appears in front of the person every morning is a daily reminder rather than a display piece.

Matte paper is a deliberate choice: it doesn't reflect ceiling light, unlike glossy. A photo hung opposite a window remains legible all day long.
Adding text, or not
A date is often enough. "June 14, 1996" under a photo says everything that a full sentence would say less effectively. If you write more, keep it under ten words and avoid quotes found online: they ring hollow next to a personal image. When the party brings people together
For a wedding anniversary celebrated on a grand scale, the question changes: it is no longer about a gift but a memento for all the guests. If you order several batches, or mugs for everyone at the table, the bulk discount applies automatically: −10% from 10 items in the cart, −15% from 25. How much time before ordering
Nothing is in stock: each piece is made after the order. The site advertises 5 to 10 business days for everyone, with shipping included in the displayed price. So count on one week, and allow a two-week margin if the date is fixed—a wedding anniversary cannot be rescheduled. Delivery to France, the EU, the UK, Switzerland and the United States.
Each item is printed to order at the partner site closest to the delivery address. The displayed price is the price paid, even for a single item.
The detail that prevents disappointment
A personalized item cannot be returned due to a change of mind: that is the rule for custom-made products (article L221-28 3° of the Consumer Code). However, any printing, manufacturing, or transport defect is replaced or refunded. Hence the importance of the first step: spend thirty seconds longer checking the sharpness of your photo, and the rest follows. If you are hesitant about this point, the workshop will warn you when the resolution is too low for the chosen format.
One last thing: order one more copy than planned. There is always someone at the end of the evening who asks where to find the same one.
