Cheap ideas, by budget
Every price includes shipping, the photo and the text:
- The smallest amount per colleague: a pack of 10 postcards, $26.00, which is $2.60 a card. Note that the 10 cards are identical: a team photo with “Merry Christmas” and a handwritten note on the back of each one.
- A mug each: the photo mug, $23.00, 325 ml ceramic, dishwasher and microwave safe, and $20.70 from 10 items in the same basket.
- A t-shirt each: the t-shirt, $23.00, $20.70 from 10 items, in adult sizes S to 2XL.
- For one close colleague: the 2027 calendar, , with a team photo for every month.
The mug is the office gift par excellence: it is used every day, it stays on the desk, and there is no size to find out. For a Christmas with names drawn from a hat, see Secret Santa between colleagues instead.
For the whole team: the price for a group order
The discount is automatic in the same basket: −10% from 10 items, −15% from 25, no code. Each mug can have a different photo and name, and items can be mixed (mugs, t-shirts, tote bags), except frames.
- 9 colleagues: 9 mugs come to $207.00, exactly the price of 10 mugs with the discount. Get a tenth, for yourself or for the intern starting in January.
- 12 colleagues: $248.40 instead of $276.00, which is $20.70 a mug.
- 15 colleagues: $310.50 instead of $345.00.
- 24 colleagues: $496.80. At 25 it is $488.75: the twenty-fifth mug brings the total down.
- Mixing: 8 mugs and 2 t-shirts come to $230.00, or $207.00 after the discount.
One person places the order for everyone: it is the shared basket that triggers the discount. If everyone is chipping in, divide the total by the number of people.
Which photo and what text for a colleague
- The team photo: the one from the last away day or leaving do, with the Team template. The same photo for everyone, a different name on each mug.
- The office joke: the broken coffee machine, the department's nickname, the line from Monday's meeting. Ideas in the in-joke gift.
- A ready-made Christmas template: Candy cane (« Sucre d'orge », with “Ho ho ho”), Ugly jumper (« Pull moche »), Let it snow or Secret Santa.
- The colleague, cut out: the free Remove background (AI) button isolates their face, ready to place on a Christmas background.
- A thank-you: the thank-you template (« Merci ! ») for a colleague who helped you all year.
Keep it kind: a mug that sits on a desk is seen by everyone. Avoid a photo that could embarrass the person in front of their colleagues.
The Christmas timetable
Printing and delivery take 5 to 10 working days in the UK, Europe and the US. For Christmas on Friday 25 December 2026, order before Thursday 10 December in Europe; elsewhere, allow up to 15 working days and order by early December. If the gifts are handed out at the office Christmas party, which is often earlier, count back from the date of the party, not from Christmas.
The slowest part is collecting the photos and names: start two weeks ahead. The dates are all set out in when to order a personalised Christmas gift.
Mistakes to avoid
- Ordering in several baskets: three orders of 4 mugs trigger no discount; one order of 12 triggers −10%.
- Stopping at 9 or 24: the next mug costs nothing extra, or brings the total down.
- Clothing when you don't know the sizes: for a team, a mug saves asking everyone their size.
- Thinking the 10 cards have 10 different photos: the pack carries the same photo on all 10 cards.
- Ordering for the party after the deadline: the office Christmas party often falls before 10 December.
Prices include shipping, no minimum order. Printed one at a time near the delivery address, delivered in 5 to 10 working days in the UK, Europe and the US, up to 15 elsewhere.
