The one personalised object bought for a practical reason
Most of what we print is bought for feeling: a face on a mug, a pet on a tote. A water bottle is different. In a gym, a classroom or a shared office, every stainless bottle looks identical, and a first name settles an argument that happens every week. The sentiment is a bonus; the usefulness is the reason it gets carried.
The print area is tall and narrow — design for that
Roughly 85 mm wide by 190 mm high, wrapped around the body. That is close to a 1:2.2 portrait, which is nothing like a photo straight off a phone.
- Works: a first name running down the bottle, a single tall subject, a stacked club logo, a face cropped tight to the head and shoulders.
- Does not work: a wide landscape, a group lined up left to right, anything with text running horizontally across the full width. All of them get cut to a letterbox.
- Remember the curve: only about a third of the circumference faces the viewer at once. Keep what matters in the middle of the design and let the edges be background.
What it actually is
Stainless steel, 483 ml, double-walled vacuum insulation. Cold drinks stay cold, hot drinks stay hot, and the outside does not sweat inside a bag. The 483 ml size is the one that fits a bike cage and a school bag — the bigger formats do not, which is why we only sell this one.
Hand washing is recommended. The steel does not mind a dishwasher; the printed layer does, and a bottle you put a face on is worth two minutes at the sink.
