Why minimums exist elsewhere
A minimum order is not a whim: traditional screen printing means preparing a screen per colour, and that setup costs the same for one bag as for a hundred. Hence the thresholds at 25, 50 or 100 you see everywhere.
Print on demand has no setup: each bag is printed on its own, when the order comes in. The unit price is higher than a five-hundred-piece screen print, but there is nothing to amortise. That is what makes a single item possible.
The price, from one to twenty-five
- 1 tote bag: $35.00, shipping included. No setup fee, no file fee.
- 2 to 9: the same unit price. No tapering before the tenth item.
- From 10 items: −10%, applied automatically at the basket, no code.
- From 25 items: −15%, the same way.
Worth knowing: items add up across different products. Six tote bags, two mugs and two t-shirts make ten and trigger the discount just as well as ten tote bags. Only the three wooden frames are excluded.
Small runs: the cases that come up
- A hen party of eight or twelve. The same design on every bag, or a different name on each — the price is the same, since each bag is printed on its own anyway.
- A club, a class, a team. Twelve to thirty bags, without ordering fifty for nothing.
- One bag, for one person. The most frequent case, and nothing unusual here.
Before you order
The bag is printed on one side only. Aim for a photo of at least 2000 pixels on the short side: the design is close to 30 cm wide, and an image pulled out of a chat has been recompressed, which shows at that size. The photo resolution page has the numbers.
Allow 5 to 10 working days in France, printing and delivery included. And check the spelling of names: a personalised product carries no right of withdrawal (article L221-28 3° of the French consumer code), although any printing, manufacturing or transport defect is replaced or refunded.
