How do I create a visual with AI?
In the "Create it with AI" bar, describe what you want in one sentence — "my cat as manga", "my dog as a cartoon", "a baby in comic style with their name" — and press Generate. The AI draws the visual in about fifteen seconds and places it straight onto the t-shirt, mug or tote bag, where you move and resize it like a photo. You can attach your own photo: it then serves as the model, and the AI keeps your dog, your child or your face while changing the style. Can the AI draw anything?
Almost. It refuses brands, logos, characters from films, series or games, and famous people: neither you nor we are allowed to print them. It also refuses what you wouldn't put on a child's t-shirt. Everything else — animals, families, names, dates, pop-art, manga, comics, Japanese, watercolour or line-art styles — goes through.
Where does my photo go when the AI transforms it?
It is shrunk in your browser, sent once to the model as a reference image, then forgotten: it is stored nowhere, neither by us nor by the model's host. Only the generated visual comes back to your browser, and it leaves your device only when you order, like an ordinary photo.
Which photo works best?
A sharp photo, taken close up, with the subject clearly separated from the background. The site checks the resolution the moment you upload and warns you if it is too low for the size you picked — better to know before you order than after.
Does my photo go anywhere?
No. The whole preview is computed in your own browser: nothing is transmitted until you order. Only at the moment of payment does the print file go to the printer, and it is deleted after dispatch.
Where are the products made?
By Gelato, a network of printers that produces as close as possible to the delivery address. An order delivered in Europe is printed in Europe; one delivered in the United States is printed in the United States.
How long does it take, and what does shipping cost?
Count 5 to 10 working days in the UK, Europe and the US and up to 15 elsewhere, printing included. Shipping is already inside the price shown, from a single item: a mug at $23.00 is $23.00 at checkout. An order of several items never costs more to ship.
Is there a discount if I order a lot?
Yes, and there is nothing to enter. From 10 items in the basket, 10% comes off automatically; from 25 items, 15%. The discount applies to the mug, the t-shirt, the sweatshirt, the hoodie, the tote bag, the postcards and the calendars — wooden frames are excluded. Items add up: ten different objects count as ten. Shipping stays included. See the items concerned.
If I order several items, do they come in one parcel?
Not necessarily. Each object is made in the nearest workshop able to produce it: a t-shirt and a mug do not come off the same machine. So you may receive several parcels, a few days apart, each with its own tracking. It changes nothing on price: shipping stays included, however many parcels there are.
What if I do not like the result?
A personalised object is made to your order, so it is exempt from the standard European right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU, article 16(c)). That is exactly why the preview is as faithful as possible before you pay. If the item arrives damaged or does not match what you ordered, we reprint it at our expense.
Can I use any photo?
Your own photos, yes. Images you do not hold the rights to — a picture found online, a film poster, a brand logo — no: when you order you confirm that you have the right to use the image.
