A photo that isn't cringe

The safest rule: it should be a photo they would have chosen themselves. Not the school photo, not the baby-in-the-bath photo, not the family photo where they're sulking.

Their friends: the group photo they posted themselves, or the one from the last match. Ask one of their friends for it, quietly.

Our t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies come in adult sizes only, S to 2XL. An adult S fits an older teen of 16 or 17; at 13 or 14 it may be too big, unless they like an oversized fit. We have no children's sizes.

Before ordering clothing, compare the flat measurements in our size guide with a sweatshirt they already wear. For an older teen's hoodie, allow $50.00; for a t-shirt, $23.00. If in doubt, stick with the cap, the bucket hat, the tote bag or the mug.

Printing to order and delivery take 5 to 10 working days in the UK, Europe and the US. To have it under the tree on Friday 25 December, order before Thursday 10 December, and earlier if you want some margin. Outside the UK, Europe and the US, allow extra time, up to 15 working days: order by early December.
