Mug, t-shirt, calendar, canvas: delivered prices compared
The price on a product page is almost never the price paid: postage is added at checkout. On 22 September 2026 we recorded the delivered price in France of a single item at four sites, ourselves included. We are not the cheapest everywhere, and it is written below.

Competitor prices are the euro amounts recorded in France on 22 September 2026. Our own prices are shown in your currency (USD).
With us, the price shown is already the delivered price. For the others, we added the product page price and the standard home delivery charge for one item. For Smartphoto these are the lowest charges offered on the product page, since the delivery page gives no amount.
What this says, honestly
- T-shirt: we are the cheapest in the survey, by 4 € to 5.08 €.
- Mug: Smartphoto (17.98 €) is cheaper than us ($23.00), Cewe charges the same in France (19.90 €) and Photobox slightly more (19.98 €).
- A4 calendar: Cewe is cheaper than us. That is a fact, and we would rather write it than hide it.
- 30 × 30 canvas: we are the most expensive of the four. Our canvas is stretched on a frame and ready to hang, but on price alone we lose this one.
The pattern is consistent: we win on small items, where postage added at the end hurts most, and we lose on large ones, where competitors amortise longer runs.
How to redo this survey yourself
The figures above are dated and will move. The method does not:
- Put one item in the basket — the quantity you actually want, not the one that makes the price look good.
- Go to the last page before payment and read the total.
- Compare on the same day: promotional codes and delivery charges change constantly.
- Check the stated lead time at the same time: a lower price with three extra weeks is not the same product.

Questions we get asked
Which site is cheapest for a personalised photo mug? In the survey of 22 September 2026, for one item delivered in France, Smartphoto was cheapest at 17.98 €, ahead of Pose ton design ($23.00), Cewe (19.90 €) and Photobox (19.98 €).
Are you the cheapest on everything? No. In the same survey Smartphoto was cheaper on the mug, Cewe on the A4 calendar and Photobox on the 30 × 30 canvas. We are cheapest on the t-shirt.
Why compare delivered prices rather than displayed prices? Because postage is added at checkout and weighs heavily on a single item. The only meaningful figure is the total on the last page before payment, for the quantity you actually want.
When were these prices recorded? On 22 September 2026, for delivery in France, for a single item. Competitor prices may have changed since.
