Group costume ideas, from the simplest to the funniest

A good Halloween t-shirt comes down to one idea that reads from three metres away in a dark room. Pick one and stick to it for the whole group.

The same face on everyone: the scariest selfie in the group (make-up, a grimace, a torch under the chin), cut out and printed on every t-shirt. Everyone turns into the same person, and people notice straight away.
A face each: everyone uploads their own photo in make-up, with their nickname underneath. Same black t-shirt, same text style, different photo.
Last year's photo: your group photo from last Halloween, with the date. The t-shirt becomes a tradition.

Designing without a Halloween template: photo, background, text

There is no Halloween template in the studio, and we'd rather say so. Everything is done with a few tools, which are more than enough:

The free Remove background (AI) button: it cuts out the face or the pumpkin, right in your browser. On a black t-shirt, a cut-out subject stands out like a sticker, with no photo rectangle around it.
The ready-made text styles: the name of the party, the date, the group's name, a nickname. Pick a nice bold style: that's what reads best from a distance.
The colour of the t-shirt: black for the atmosphere, red for vampire blood (there is no orange). A black t-shirt with a bright photo gives the best contrast.
Make the photo sharper (AI): for a photo taken at night or saved from a group chat, which is often too small.

For the photo itself, go for a well-lit image, even for a dark effect: a made-up face shot with the flash prints better than a blurry photo taken in the dark. The guidelines are in which photos print well on a t-shirt. For a group photo, the Team template is another option.

What it costs for a group

Each t-shirt costs $23.00, shipping included, with no minimum. The discount applies automatically in the same basket, even if every t-shirt carries a different photo.

6 people: 6 × $23.00 = $138.00.
9 people: $207.00. That's exactly the price of 10 t-shirts with the discount: add a tenth, it costs nothing extra.
10 to 24 items: −10%, bringing each t-shirt to $20.70. For 12 people: $248.40 instead of $276.00.
25 items and over: −15%. For 25 t-shirts: $488.75 instead of $575.00, about $19.55 each.

When to order for 31 October

Halloween falls on Saturday 31 October 2026. Printing and delivery take 5 to 10 working days in Europe: to be sure it arrives, order by about Friday 16 October. An order placed that day and delivered after ten working days arrives on Friday 30 October. Outside the UK, Europe and the US, allow up to 15 working days and order in early October.

For a group, the real delay is collecting everyone's sizes and photos. Set an internal deadline a week earlier, around 9 October. One person places the order for everyone, in the same basket: that's what triggers the discount.

Mistakes to avoid

Ordering for children: the t-shirts only come in adult sizes, S to 2XL, with no children's sizes. For a family party, the t-shirt is for the parents, not the little ones.
Ordering in the last week: after 16 October, delivery before the 31st is no longer guaranteed in Europe, and it is later still elsewhere.
A dark photo on a black t-shirt: a black subject on a black background disappears. Cut it out and choose a bright photo, or go for the white or sand t-shirt.
Too much text: a full sentence can't be read at a party. Two or three words, big.
Guessing sizes: ask everyone for their usual size and check it against the size guide. The t-shirt is a Gildan 64000 Softstyle, 150 g/m².
